STONE GUARD ENHANCER
APPLICATION SURFACE:Natural stones such as granites quartzites sandstone and meta-sandstone and exotic materials. Indicated for application on natural stone surfaces with high or low porosity in rustic or rough and polished finishes (with gloss activation).
STONE GUARD ENHANCER is a hydro-oil repellent sealer and color enhancer designed to maximize protection against stains and activate the color of dense and compact or highly porous natural stone surfaces. On polished surfaces, Stone Guard Enhancer promotes gloss and a permanent wet effect. Its high-performance formula has nano-molecules that penetrate stone pores and encapsulate the grains, without sealing the surface, allowing the substrates to breathe.
PROPERTIES
Maximizes resistance against absorption of liquids such as water, oil, olive oil, red wine and coffee, minimizing staining*
Promotes natural color intensification on rough, rough-finished (brushed, honed, flammed) and porous stones and activates the shine, with permanent wet effect, on polished natural stone surfaces
Breathable formula: allows the free exchange of vapors between the stone substrate and the external environment, without forming film layer
Does not yellow under UV light and minimizes efflorescence on surfaces
Prevents the growth of fungi and mosses
Facilitates cleaning and maintenance of waterproofed areas
For industrial or residential use, for application on slabs, parts and finishes, indicated for indoor and outdoor environments.
*Stain tests carried out in accordance with ISO 10545-14: Determination of resistance to stains (adapted), reaching Class 5 of resistance against stains - highest class.
USAGE
TEST THE PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA BEFORE TOTAL APPLICATION. The product does not change the stone's natural color, but a previous test must be carried out to analyze the desired results. The hydro-oleo protection starts 24 hours after the last application, reaching its full performance after 7 days (final cure).
Do not heat the surface before application. The slab surface or stone part to be waterproofed must be clean, dry, free of dust and other contaminating products or agents before application. The surface temperature must be between 10ºC and 35ºC (50ºF and 95 ºF) for product application.
Shake gently before applying. Ready-to-use product, no dilution required.
Using a clean microfiber cloth, foam mop, short-haired wool roller or a hand-held sprayer, apply a layer of the product evenly over the surface of the stone. A wet appearance can be seen on the surface within the first minute of applying the product and it will soon be absorbed.
For high absorption stone types, it may be necessary to apply a second coat of the product. The application of a second coat may cause color changes on the surface, requiring a preliminary test.
After the last coat, wait 30 minutes or before the surface dries completely and remove the excess with a paper towel. Finish by polishing the surface with a cotton cloth or wool bonnet to give a better finishing

EFFICIENCY
Polished surfaces: Between 15 to 30 ml/m² for each coat of product.
Rustic surfaces (brushed or honed): Between 50 to 70 ml/m² for each coat of product.
Surfaces with high porosity, flamed or rough: Between 70 to 150 ml/m² for one coat of product.
The numbers may vary depending on the porosity of the stone, the surface finish and the application technique used.
