MAX PROTECTION + is a repellent hydro-oil sealer that uses the latest nanotechnology for natural rock surfaces in its formulation. Its high performance creates an invisible layer of protection (no color change of materials), forming a chemical barrier ensuring a high yield and longer durability in the substrate of treated materials.
Its main objective is to maximize resistance to staining agents such as water, oil, ketchup, wine, olive oil, etc. The use is indicated in granites, quartzites, marbles (carbonate rocks should not be exposed to acidic agents, even if protected with MAX PROTECTION).
For maximum effect, MAX PROTECTION + should preferably be used over MAX PROTECTION with this system the substrate becomes highly stain resistant.
The surface of the material must be dry, polished, brushed and or rough, free of dust and contaminants. Do not heat the material before application.
The substrate becomes resistant to staining agents after 24 hours of application.
APPLICATION (PROFESSIONAL USE)
With the finished sheets or pieces horizontally, use a foam thrower, airless gun or hand sprayer applying one coat on the face and edges of the materials, with sufficient amount to wet the substrate. Let it act for at least 30 minutes and remove the excess with a cardboard disc sander, wool bonnet or cotton rag.
It is recommended the removal and cleaning of the staining agent as soon as possible, as soon as the incident occurs. Remove the excess of dirt with paper towels, then wipe off with neutral detergent or abrasive paste (CIF), wash it with water to remove excess and dry the surface.
Exceptions must be followed, tested, evaluated and subsequently approved by the TDS Company technical staff.
Approximately total of 20 to 250 sq.ft per room.
